Raj Kamal Jha

Raj Kamal Jha is Chief Editor, The Indian Express. His last novel, The City and The Sea, won the Rabindranath Tagore Literary Prize 2020 and the 2019 Tata Literature Live Book Of The Year Award and Banaras Lit Fest Book Award 2025. In 2021, Jha was named Editor of The Year at the International Advertising Association, India, leadership awards. The Patient in Bed Number 12 is his sixth novel.
