Shruti Kumud

Shruti Kumud was born on September 6, 1988, in Purana Kopa, Kopaganj, Mau Nath Bhanjan District, Uttar Pradesh. She received her early education in Kopaganj, Mau, and later pursued higher studies at Banaras Hindu University. Her research focused on Challenges of Creative Transformation of Concerns and Reality – Hindi Short Stories Post-1980. She has authored the book 'Sahitya aur Itihasvivek' and has published critical essays in renowned literary journals such as Tadbhav, Vanmali Katha, Banas Jan, Baya, Lamhi, and Sakhi. Actively engaged in literary criticism, she has been serving as an Assistant Professor of Hindi at Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan, since 2013.
