Sumeru Roy Chaudhury

Sumeru Roy Chaudhury is an architect by profession and Netaji scholar by passion. His functioning at the Higher Administrative Grade in the Union government helped him to conduct an analytical in-depth study of the declassified government files to reach the truth on the mortal end of Netaji Subhas. 

He has found out and serialised the flaws in all the conspiracy theories in circulation on Netaji's death. No wonder, therefore, he is a regular columnist on Netaji issues and makes it a point to correct the narrative on Netaji’s death controversy on national TV. He relentlessly pursues in social media groups against fake and unsubstantiated narrative. As part of this effort he authored four books: 'Russian Theory is a Fancy', ‘Netaji as Gumnami: India’s Biggest Hoax', ‘Japan Scuttled Netaji’s Return’ and ‘Netaji’s Remains need to repose on Indian soil’. This book, ‘From Shadows to Light: The Truth of Netaji’s Mortal end’, wraps up all the four aspects. The Foreword of the book is written by Madhuri Bose, grandniece of Netaji Subhas.

He is a pass-out of IIT, Kharagpur, and then pursued his higher studies at the University of  Nottingham, UK. He functioned as the Chief Architect in the Central Architects Service of the Union government of India.
