Anjula Bedi
Anjula Bedi is a Post-graduate in English Literature from Delhi University. As partner and editor/writer for Eminence Designs Pvt Ltd, a publishing company started in 1990, in Mumbai, she has edited over 30 books on art and heritage. Her fascination for oral history resulted in her interest in biographies. Her writings include a commemorative volume for the Indian Navy, Bridges of Friendship, the English adaptation for Kokilaben Ambani’s book Dhirubhai Ambani- the Man I Knew, The Intrepid Entrepreneur- Shyam Sundar Jhunjhnuwala, Purushottam- Transforming Lives, and a pictorial biography of the company Indorama. Anjula has also authored Gods and Goddesses of India for BPI.
Along with Ila Arun, she is co-founder of Mumbai’s Surnai Theatre and Folk Arts Foundation, started 40 years ago with the object of bringing meaningful Hindi theatre to Indian audiences.
