Dr. Bharti Sehta

Dr. Bharti Sehta is a distinguished political scientist and educator, currently serving as a Senior Assistant Professor in the University Department of Political Science at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur, Bihar. Born in Varanasi, she is an alumna of Central Hindu Girls School and pursued her higher education at Banaras Hindu University, where she earned her doctorate with a thesis on "Rethinking Liberalism: A Feminist Perspective." 

Her academic interests encompass Political Philosophy, Democracy, Security, Justice, and Gender Studies, with a particular focus on the status of women in India. Renowned for her teaching expertise and organizational skills, she actively contributes to both academic and intellectual discourse
