Radhavallabh Tripathi

Radhavallabh Tripathi is a distinguished poet, storyteller, and playwright in Sanskrit and Hindi. He was born on February 15, 1949, in Rajgarh district, Madhya Pradesh. His father was a scholar and poet-critic with deep expertise in both Sanskrit and Hindi. Tripathi earned a Ph.D. from Sagar University on The Development of Poets' Personalities in Sanskrit Literature and later obtained a D.Litt. for his research on The Origins and Evolution of Theatre in Ancient India. His academic journey began in 1970, spanning roles from research scholar to professor and from dean to head of department. He has also served as a visiting professor of Sanskrit at Silpakorn University, Bangkok, and Columbia University, New York, and as the Vice-Chancellor of the National Sanskrit University. Additionally, he has actively participated in numerous Sanskrit conferences across India and abroad.
