Tripurari Sharan

Born in 1961, Tripurari Sharan joined the Indian Administrative Service after graduating from St Stephen's College and Jawaharlal Nehru University. Over the years, he has held many important administrative positions. Among them, the notable ones are Director of the Film and Television Institute of India and Chief Secretary to the Government of Bihar. He has a keen interest in classical music, cinema and literature. He has published many poems and has directed two films in the past. Madhopur Ka Gha is his debut novel, published by Rajkamal Prakashan. His recent novel is Antim Ashray, published by Setu Prakashan. Both novels have been well received by readers and critics.
