Lalit Kumar
Lalit Kumar teaches English at Deendayal Upadhyaya College, University of Delhi. A former Fellow at the Prime Minister Museum and Library, Teen Murti House, he is the recipient of the Kalinga Literary Festival Book Award and the Valley of Words Award. He has served on the juries of several literary festivals. His articles, columns, and interviews have appeared in The Hindu, The Indian Express, The Times of India, and Outlook. His publications include an English translation of the classic Maithili novel Kanyadan (The Bride), a co-translation of the Hindi bestseller Twelfth Fail, and a co-edited volume on Amaranatha Jha. His forthcoming book is a political biography titled Deendayal Upadhyaya: The Idol and The Enigma.
