Vineetha Mokkil
Vineetha Mokkil is the author of the short story collections A Happy Place and Other Stories (HarperCollins) and Lawrence of Arabia and Other Stories (Bridge House Publishing, UK; Red River, New Delhi). Her fiction has been anthologised in The Best Asian Short Stories, The Punch Magazine Anthology of New Writing, A Case of Indian Marvels, and Things Left and Found at the Side of the Road. She is the curator and editor of Lightning Strikes: An Anthology of Flash Fiction by Fifty Indian Writers (Dhauli Books, 2024). Mokkil won the 2024 A.C. Bose Grant for South Asian Speculative Literature and the New Asian Writing Short Story Competition, 2018. She currently lives in Delhi where she works as a Senior Associate Editor at Outlook magazine.
