Padma Vibhushan Anupam Kher

Anupam Kher is a veteran Indian actor, director, producer and motivational speaker whose career spans over four decades. He has appeared in more than 500 films across Indian and international cinema, along with extensive theatre work. A recipient of two National Film Awards and eight Filmfare Awards, he was honoured with the Padma Shri (2004) and the Padma Bhushan (2016) by the Government of India for his contribution to arts and cinema. He is also the founder of the acting academy Actor Prepares and the author of bestselling books such as Lessons Life Taught Me, Unknowingly. His body of work ranges from critically acclaimed dramas like Saaransh to mainstream successes such as Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge and international projects, reflecting his remarkable versatility and global appeal.
