Pankaj Mishra

Pankaj Mishra is a seasoned Indian journalist and editorial leader with over two decades of experience across television and digital newsrooms. Currently serving as Editor at OneIndia News, he has played a pivotal role in integrating AI tools and SEO-driven strategies into modern newsroom workflows- enhancing content delivery, audience targeting and storytelling formats in the digital age.

Having started his career with India's Public Broadcaster DD News, Delhi, Pankaj grew through the ranks with stints at NewsX, TV9 Digital and WION, where he contributed significantly to international affairs coverage, special interviews and podcast initiatives.

Notably, Pankaj also underwent a six-month News gathering and news processing training at TRT World in Istanbul in 2015. He has worked for 5 years at ANN7 News in Johannesburg, South Africa. This period provided him with hands-on exposure to global broadcast standards, conflict reporting, and cross-border newsroom collaboration. He was also instrumental in launching current-affairs shows and managing output desks during major electoral events during his 5 year stay in Johannesburg.

A guest faculty at institutions such as Delhi University, IP College and JIMS, he is committed to mentoring the next generation of journalists in TV, digital and Radio medium, particularly emphasising the ethical use of AI tools in journalism, editorial integrity and storytelling.
